You're a better person than I am.  I had to put my liberal friends on the Restricted list and some of them on mute, at least for awhile.   If I really want to know what they're talking about, I'll go over to their page.  If they're missing my political posts, they can visit mine.

I have this one chick who has the same auto-immune disease I have on my FB. She wrote a book about our disease several years ago, it was terrible. It was all about how pissed off she was and how her parents sucked.  Not inspirational at all, it was all "I'm mad at the world...I hate everyone...especially my parents". 

Now she has moved on to being the victim of Wells-Fargo (they lost their house after 2 1/2 years of fighting with them and I assume missing payments) and every other daily life occurrence. She is a foul mouth liberal victocrat. She made a post not long ago about family members being "selfish".  I don't go on FB very often so I don't see her posts frequently but when I do see one of her nasty posts I will sometimes click on her FB page an read a few days worth of posts. She is a miserable person. Sometimes I think to block her but not so much for her liberal politics (she is the kind who thinks everyone on the other side are evil idiots) but for her miserable victimhood whines.

I struggle, because I want to educate them.  But, I know that won't work.  I don't ban them, because I want to know what they think.  I don't combat them because I have young ones (nieces and nephews) that are my FB friends.  I don't want to deal with too many privacy settings, so I use FB to keep up with people only.

"New Liberal" apparently means if a republican says anything the new lib posts an angry rant.

that's what the old liberals did. If Duchess wants to stand out from the crowd, then a reasoned thoughtful response is something I've never seen before.

A new liberal would spell out what Obama will do in a 2nd term (something lord O has failed to do).

A new liberal would address the issues as they stand instead of turning a church state issue into a war on women.

A new liberal woukld come up with reasonable plans to fix the economy, encourage job growth, and defend our borders...

Hmmm, ya know what? the new liberal I've just described is a conservative...
