Where was he last night? He missed the block party.

The big guy says he and Marta had a "previous commitment."

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

The real reason is that the big guy doesn't show his gut around Democrat meetings and gatherings because he's embarrassed about what an idiot he made of himself, representing the Democrats in that race for the Bellevue City Council.

Eh...looks to me like another one of those democrat events that had to be reigned in due to fire codes.

Maybe they got turned away by the fire department.

Yeah, it would've reminded all the deadbeats at that party how much of a chance they have to win Nebraska.

There is also a good chance that Steve is persona non grata with the Nebraska Democratic Party, for the same reason.

Well, owebuma has done far worse to discredit the party, and he is still persona grata.

From the looks of the pictures, only about 30 or 40 people showed up. If that is a good turnout, I would hate to see what a bad one looks like  :lmao:

He was afraid Barack Milhous would have pointed him out as an example of how not to run a campaign.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

They're ashamed to be seen with him but they'll vote for him.

There's something vaguely sinister about the last picture Steve posted.  What's with all the bling?

It is pretty sad when even the chance of getting free food will not generate a crowd larger than 40-50 people for an Obama/Democrat event.

You guys got it all wrong. Millions wanted to come but, like the real 0bama campaign, they are just more selective of the people they invite/let in the front door.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Now wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

I saw this posted yesterday, and now this evening, I went to the campfire on Skins's island to see if the big guy had gotten any primitive comments (no, he hasn't), and I saw something I hadn't caught the first time around.

I'd assumed it was a Bellevue event.

This was in Omaha?

In case one's not aware, Omaha's about ten times the size of Bellevue.

And this was all Omaha could garner?

No Democrat wants a self-professed socialist hanging around them during election season. Even if they are monetarily well-endowed. Someone like Socialist Steve is only good for a $25 donation every now and then.

He is the very definition of idiota of nonnullus angustus utilitas.

Okay, I don't know any Latin but it seems people of Socialist Steve's caliber of useful idiot deserves their own Latin phrase.
