I think the Romney/Ryan ticket will get little or a NEGATIVE bounce from their Convention!

Since the announcement of Ryan, things have not gone well for the ticket. It has experienced one disaster after another so that by the time the Convention starts, the participants will be collectively in a foul mood. Enter Chris Christie who will bring his full frontal nastiness to set the tone in his keynote address. Expect the snarling governor of New Jersey to churn the hall. Things will just get uglier after that. The signs will be angry and desperate. There will be no attempt to present themselves as rational and calm. Yes, they will be "shrill."

I can only hope that this will be the convention that augurs the wreck of the Republican Party as it is presently constituted. Polls will reflect the voters' disgust of this public display of toxic hate.

What world is he living in? Things have really been a disaster for Romney and Ryan? From what I have seen the energy level in the Romney campaign and his supporters is off the charts. Paul Ryan is not letting the democrats get away with the medicare lies anymore. The crowds are growing for R and R meanwhile Biden is sticking his foot in his mouth to audiences of 600 people.

Keep dreaming DUmmies I so look forward to your faces when Romney is sworn in.  :rotf:

My reaction was just like Freeper's, I read the start of that post and thought "On what planet???" then I had to laugh when I saw the way he had started his comments.

I talked to my SIL's FIL today (follow that?), and what a waste of time and oxygen that was.  He told me all of the DUmp's talking points--I thought that this guy was intelligent.  I was doing this: :banghead: Finally, I said, "Let's agree to disagree and leave it at that."  ('Course, my wife telling me to stop talking politics, along with said man's wife telling him to shut up, had something to do with it.)

Stupidity like that needs to have painful consequences.
