Oh my.

Another primitive returns.

Is there such a thing as a sane Republican voter?

“I’ve got mine and I’m coming after yours.” It’s self-apparent that that’s the motto of today’s Republican politicians and their masters. And it spells out exactly what they’ll do if they ever gain full control of the government.

What’s amazing is that so many of their voters just don’t get it. Some of them live in a parallel universe called Fox News-Limbaugh-Bachmann Land. Some of them are incredibly wealthy. And some are bigots who hate Obama.

But what about the rest of them? Every Republican voter doesn’t fall into one of those categories. Why would any sane person vote for a party that specializes in cruelty and is intent on destroying our way of life? Why would any rational person vote for a party that has left its morality and humanity in a river of raw sewerage?

I don’t get it. Perhaps someone can explain it to me.

It seems to me that's [the bold area above] is the popular primitive attitude.

3. I've heard this said better elsewhere, but basically there are two groups of Republicans:

The very rich, and the very duped.

The very rich want get richer at the expense of everyone else, which is what today's Republican policies are designed to do.

The very duped are convinced that the ONLY THING keeping them from also being very rich is the government. If only they held on to a few more tax dollars that are being used to feed a starving family, they'd be millionaires by year's end.

Yeah, there's also racism and religious fanaticism thrown in too.

Racism seems to be the go to word in the world of liberals. Can't when an argument on facts, call your opponent a racist.  What was the old internet law about a thread being dead when Nazis or Hitler gets invoked. Same is now true for the word racist. You know that the lib has run out of substantive ideas when he or she calls you a racist.

DUmmies, those blithe answers above, "racism," show that you don't know shit about how real people off that island of yours really think and live.  This is to your detriment, of course.

I was strolling through Politico one day recently.  The comment board had been taken over by the rethugs.  One lone moonbat was in there, posting under a few different names.  (  :loser: ).  He was running around whining in a panicky tone, "why do you guys want to vote against your own self interest???!!!???"  He looked like a fart in hurricane, and got his ass handed to him, by people still in a roiling boil over "you didn't build that."

I'm beginning to wonder what is so be all/end all awful about racism.   It seems to be a word that covers a lot of ground these days.  I don't think it has anything to do with its root word anymore.

If racism was still about its root word, it could not possible apply to the objections I have to the ideological evil that possesses people like that Barrack Obamo character.  And since my objections get me called a racist, then "racism" has no real meaning at all, because I object to the same ideological evil regardless of the natural origin of the evil person.  This applies to everyone from Caucasians to Negroid to everyone in between.

I like to see them not getting it, it's always good when your mortal enemies completely fail to understand you, and you know of that failure.

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.
