The question seems to be whether or not the law applies to Jackson's current situation. I read the law and I think it does, a judge may not agree however, and since it will be his/her decision that matter's I guess we will have to wait and see. If a judge finds in favor of Jackson I guess nothing is going to happen. I suspect that this is what's going to happen because I am sure there's more than one judge running around that is on his fathers payroll.
If for some reason the judge finds against Jackson will the decision be enforced? Will he be able to keep his FOID, his other permits and his guns? or will they be confiscated. I think that public outcry will be loud enough that he will have to comply and turn in his permits and guns. But we have to remember who we are dealing with here, anything is possible. The leftist mindset, " The laws apply to you, not to me". The story of Diane Feinstein and her concealed carry permit would be a perfect example of this.
