DUer Steve Deshazer ("stevedeshazer") has died
Perhaps this has been posted already. I got an email from Steve's wife saying that Steve died last week after allergic complications from a medication. Steve was a real gentleman and a fountain of knowledge about Oregon and the Oregon wilds. Steve and I had become quite good friends on-line as a result of my fire lookout blog, and I was looking forward to a meet-up with Steve in the near future.

Steve Deshazer: RIP dear friend.

I always enjoy DUmpmonkey obits, reading through dozens of replies with not a single DUmmy daring to use the word "prayers".

It's just now out in the open.

That's why progressives need to take over the party at the local levels.

The Teabaggers took over the Republican party from the inside and showed us how to do it.

So I'm determined to attend my local county's Democratic Party meetings and make the progressive voice heard.

If enough of us do that, we can rid the Democratic party of many blue dogs and corporo-crats.

On second thought, maybe I should run as a stealth Republican.

She didn't make it.
With much sadness and a heavy heart, I must report that momdeshazer has moved on to the next plane of the universe. She died peacefully and pain-free this morning. She was 82.

Mom and her parents were solid FDR Democrats. She loved all the Democratic presidents in her lifetime save one: Bill Clinton. She was mad at him for what she saw as selling out American jobs with those trade agreements. She was sharp right to the end. And she was very happy to see Barack Obama elected President. And she called George W. a "beady-eyed little shit".

I always liked that one.

It often is - they do the same with the phrase 'died unexpectedly' without any further clarification.  In that case, it usually means suicide.

Doubt it. The adjustment of potency and final packaging of most medications popular among democrats is done in apartments scattered around the democrat urban hellhole.

It would be difficult to identify a target for a lawsuit.

The sixteen-year-old streetcorner pharmicist is unlikely to carry liability insurance.

Trying to bring suit against his boss is likely to bring on that other leading cause of democrat deaths, lead poisoning.
