Oh my.

Newt lies even more than Romney

It is absolutely bizarre how willfully these people lie. Just lie through their teeth and have no problem with it. He's been given a forum on Morning Scab to totally misrepresent what Obama has done re: the welfare reform act, health care, calling Obama a "Saul Alinsky radical" out to destroy America. Not only isn't he challenged on ANYTHING he spews, he is served up the topics on a silver platter.

Lots of "...we have to assume he meant..." and "...I suspect that..." with NOTHING but his fat bloviating ass to back up his assertions.

Fear and hatred. And lies. Newt is still the master.

4. Surprisingly, Mark Halperin called him on his bullshit.

Halperin had to ask him three times how he could makes such claims about Obama gutting the welfare work requirement if the law specifically requires states to have plans to increase work by 20% in order to be granted a waiver.

Newt, of course, just kept ducking and dodging, saying because "Obama hates work and drastically increased food stamp usage!" and "the head of HHS is a RADICAL!"

Halperin kept pushing -- "That's not an answer, sir. The law specifically calls for MORE work. How do you interpret this as gutting the program?"

Finally, for his fourth answer, Newt simple said, well because we don't believe him."

That's when the interview was ended, followed by a moment of sucking up to Newt's awesomeness, can't wait to see you at the convention, etc.

He really is a horrible, horrible man.

12. I think it was Heilman, actually, but it doesn't matter because it was important that it was SAID to Newt's lying face! I admire Heilman's tenacity and when Newt finally said "Because we don't believe them!" I had a good laugh! But I wish someone had followed up, asking "Why would these REPUBLICAN governors lie?" I would have liked to hear Newt dance around THAT!

What was disgusting was Mika sucking up to Newt, promising to attend his "Newt U" school, whatever that is!

What got too much for me was Dan Senor. Bad enough they had Mark McKinnon, that smirking asshole. But Senor coming on and whining about being outnumbered 7 to 1 on the show last week was nauseating.

My nausea forced me to shut the set off and leave the room...

15. You're right, it was John Heilman. My bad.

It was fun, either way!

17. I like when he said "I've asked you twice and you haven't answered my question..." right to Newt. It made Newt admit "because we don't believe them..."

THAT was pretty telling right there.

2. He really is a disgusting man

And he did have free reign- no one even dared throw him a hard question- they all just sapped it up and let him blubber on endlessly. Seymour was clearly in heaven. Why were there no Dems on the panel today? We needed Howard Dean or Lawrebce O'Donnel there for some balance.

9. And much more convincingly too

We could have been in real trouble if he had been the nominee.

11. No Penalty For Lying...

The old political axiom is "a lie runs around the world while the truth is getting its pants on"...and that's the game the rushpublicans are playing big time...they always have. Since we have a lazy and complicit corporate media...any lie that Gnewt or any other teabagging mouthpiece spews will always get a big play and only later when the truth is check is there any kind of "accountability" and by then Willard and his ilk are onto their next sliming. There are no morals here...all that matters is winning...

16. This is totally true.

I have many FB friends who repeat this stuff verbatim and swear it's true. You can post the actual facts for them, and they'll just respond with the clip from Fox News -- "See! Here's proof!" I "argued" with some loon about voter fraud last week. Explained to him that it didn't really exist. Every "source" he posted was either clip of some guest on Fox News, or stuff from this web site called WesternJournalism.com, which was all just a compendium of the most outrageous right-wing bullshit you could find. Confederate flags, lots and lots of Obama hate. He didn't understand why I didn't accept this as a legitimate source. He said "You probably listen to NPR and MSNBC!" He's one of the many that doesn't understand MSNBC is really very Republican during most of the day. Unfortunately, because of Rachel and KO, MSNBC has become a left-wing version of Fox in the eyes of most, and it just isn't true. Fox has never and will never offer up half of it's programming to the left, as MSNBC does for the right. If there really is a "fair and balanced" station, it would have to be MSNBC more than any other cable news channel, simply for this reason. They really do mix it up.

Ho hum.

Do you mean to say, Atman, that Bush didn't steal the election and he won it fair and square?  We know he won, but what do your fellow DUmpmonkies say?

York: When 1,099 felons vote in race won by 312 ballots

In the '08 campaign, Republican Sen. Norm Coleman was running for re-election against Democrat Al Franken. It was impossibly close; on the morning after the election, after 2.9 million people had voted, Coleman led Franken by 725 votes.

Franken and his Democratic allies dispatched an army of lawyers to challenge the results. After the first canvass, Coleman's lead was down to 206 votes. That was followed by months of wrangling and litigation. In the end, Franken was declared the winner by 312 votes. He was sworn into office in July 2009, eight months after the election.

During the controversy a conservative group called Minnesota Majority began to look into claims of voter fraud. Comparing criminal records with voting rolls, the group identified 1,099 felons -- all ineligible to vote -- who had voted in the Franken-Coleman race.

You have to cut Pedro McGrath a little slack on this.

Since being fired from his plum job as the number three cartoon boy in a group of three, he has been absolutely idle.

There is literally nothing in his life outside of television and the DUmp.

In Pedro's world, things that happen on the Joe Scarborough show or the Al Sharpton show are important.

Yet you don't mind that Harry Reid can't prove his allegations.  :mental:

I'm trying to remember, who was the dumbass DUer that got mentioned on-air by Rush Limbaugh that said the Republican Party was planning to lose the election on purpose so they could blame the Democratic Party?  Was it Texas Toast?  I don't think it was Herr Dude the Clown.  He's not that wily.

Yeah, that was Pedro Picasso, about the mid-term elections of 2006.

And then he got quoted on the most popular radio talk-show in America, bringing down the scorn and laughter of tens of millions.

It was a public-relations disaster of unusual proportions.

I always thought he did at least a million dollars' worth of damage to the name and reputation of Skins's island, and figured it would be decent of Atman to make a large donation so as to make amends to Skins.

Now, Atman doesn't have a million dollars sitting around, but I'm sure my fellow alum would've taken ten cents on the dollar.
