If you have any Republican relatives or acquaintances ask them this question

Ask them, "Who do you think picked Romney as your Republican presidential candidate?"

The ones I know actually think they picked him. When they say that I laugh in their faces until they ask me why I am laughing and then they ask who I think picked Romney.

Stay coy for a while. Wait until they get real persistent about who you think picked Romney.

Then just say, "The Obama Campaign picked him."

Then drop it and change the subject and let them think about that for a while.

3. Doesn't mean that TPTB wouldn't RUN with Romney if they could shove him down our throats.

4. I Had A Similiar Thought......

that the Obama people are paying Rmoney's campaign people. They're double agents.

5. There may be some truth to that.

However, given the bizarre cast of characters the GOP offered, I think Obama would prefer to be running against: Cain, Trump, Perry, Bachmann, Paul, Santorum, or Gingrich.

9. I don't think it matters.

Rmoney, Cain, Trump, Perry, Bachmann, Paul, Santorum, and Gingrich are all bizarre characters. The GOP has nothing to offer.

7. I thnk the Obama campaign would have preferred Newt or Santorum

Not that they are sweating the Mittster all that much. It was a very weak field. But can you imagine one of those two at the top of the ticket? Santorum's got more whacked out views than Romney and Newt has a worse past. As bad a candidate as Romney is, I think either of those two would have been even worse.

Ironically enough, Obama was picked by Cheney and Rove to ensure that DemonRats will never again control the Senate, HOR and presidency at the same time.  A side effect of this  is that it will never allow another black man to be elected either.

Too bad for that, because I like Herman Cain and Allen West.

Why the hell would this senile old pig think that would have any affect on anyone? For crap sakes! Anyone that followed the primaries, even in the most cursory manner, knows it was Romney by default. It's not devious, it's stupid and if his relatives seem stunned it's probably because they didn't think he could be any more ridiculous than the last time he tried to be profound. How dumb to you have to be to think this shit will work? I know I shouldn't be surprised but then they completely outdo themselves sometimes. So a stupid moonbat who's the laughing stock of the family says something like this and then drops the subject! Talk politics with an arrogant, partisan hack that doesn't even have as much brains as the one my cat pulled out of a mouse the other day and you might as well just let it ride because you can't argue with stupid.

Why the hell would this senile old pig.....

Uh, madam, heart of my heart, don't be confusing grouchy old Don with the sparkling old dude.

Grouchy old Don's about seven years younger than the sparkling old dude, and lives in Chicago, a loyal adherent of the machine that's taxing him to death in his retirement.
