2005 on my local roads.  On a whim I went to a newly opened bicycle shop and got a Transeo GT 4.0, different pedals so I could use cage and straps, and a more comfortable seat.

Since then I've been alternating my rides between the two bikes, not long rides that some folks on bike forums talk about, but rather only up to about an hour and a half.

Yesterday I rescued a gopher turtle who was walking up the middle of an overpass, and I've seen several deer and some rabbits.  Have only been rained on once.

Bicycling is fun again.
This too shall pass.

It's good that you have something you enjoy.

In the 1950s I rode a three speed Schwinn 'English Racer' everywhere.  I was just telling my wife the other day that riding is fun again, as it was in the 50s.  And I cannot explain it.

I ride listening to Il Divo, Enya, and Travis Tritt on the MP3, and look at the scenery.  Life is good!
This too shall pass.

I learned to ride a bike in 1960, the summer I turned 6.  It's been a volatile off and on relationship since then.

I went to basic training the summer of 1960.  Retired on my birthday in 1988.

This too shall pass.

Sounds relaxing, fun & healthy!

God bless you for having the energy to ride a bike.

It's like falling off a bicycle.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
