The sovereign movement started a while ago. I first read of them in the 1980s when researching material for a novel. They are quite dangerous actually. And if you do not know who they are... here is some information on them.

These guys are but one aspect of the far right, which includes the Nation of Islam, Kahane's boy's, the Neo Nazis. Skin Heads, multiple militias, you know the drill. They all have one thing in common, even if in reality they could not stand each other and would probably seriously hurt each other if we threw them in a room and locked the door, they hate the other and fear the other.

It is time, in my view, for DHS to bring back that report (that was started under the BUSH administration) and take it seriously. If the right screeches, let them. As a country, these are indeed the danger from within.
