You know, I wonder if anyone on that lander team has had any experience with heavy equipment. The reason I say that is that one of the first lander got stuck. The surface of Mars is covered in a talcum powder like substance and they put "wheels" on the lander. First time I forgive them for that one, they didn't know any better but if this one gets stuck, it's all their fault, not Bush's.
The lander should have had tracks or a cam over plate arrangement....or a hydraulic/electric arm like a backhoe capable of lifting/pushing at least 1/2 of it's weight and moving it from side to side to lift it out of a bog.
