Link clicking just gets you in trouble. I don't click links.
It's funny when I think about it now but way back when I liked to live dangerously, I did what I called link hopping. I would go to a site like Drudge, any big mainstream site would do. I would close my eyes and click. Then I would look at the site that popped up and find another link that looked interesting and click on it. I would just continue to do this, sometimes all afternoon. You would be absolutely amazed at the things you discover and the sites you wind up on.. There are places out there that I never knew existed. I'm not talking about porn sites OK. I'm talking about all kinds of personal web sites, and information sites, instructional sites, things like that.
The shear volume of material that is just out there on the web, is mind boggling. Of course in today's world you just can't do it. You have viruses and malware and worms and any number of threats that have been spread over the entire internet by scum bag computer geeks that live in their mother basement, and have nothing better to do then to ruin it for everyone else. If you start blindly hopping around the internet today you probably won't last ten minutes before your computer is so infected with crap that it will just roll over and die, never to utter another sound.
