Thanks to Chris, who showed me a new (new to me) superduper way of looking around Skins's island for particular primitives.

Remember after Kerry conceded in 04, how many of us thought "Maybe he's one of them?"

I've got that nagging feeling about Hillary Clinton about now. She knows she's not helping her own party or her own chances. She's essentially doing the GOP's bidding, even if not via direct instructions from the RNC. Her actions simply make me wonder whose side she actually thinks she on.

That said, I still don't see a chance in hell of McBush winning in 08. But every minute Hillary Clinton draws this out is another minute MSRNC and all the General Electric affiliates, and Disney TV and Viacom, etc, get to promote McBush and trash the "infighting" among Democrats, as they intentionally help Hillary Clinton muddy the minds of the masses into thinking she actually does have a chance of becoming the nominee without further destroying the country in the process.

Great for their ratings. Great for Hillary's ego. Very bad for our already teetering democracy.

One thinks Pedro Picasso needs to get out of the studio more (boldened comment, above).

Sniffing artistry paint and smelling sculptor's clay sort of distorts the senses.

1. Sorry, but I disagree about Kerry

If anything, you could argue that he took one for the team. We had contested the 2000 election with legitimate cause, but if we contested 2004 it would have looked like Democrats can never accept the results of elections. And there were voting irregularities in Ohio, but it was not THAT close, and most of the irregularities dealt with people being turned away from the polls or lines being too long. A recount would not have fixed that.

franksolich's thoughts on Hillary Clinton, and why she should stay in until the end; she might win--the title, "Nebraska vs Oklahoma" isn't meant to be deceptive; I think it's an accurate analogy:

You'd think the educated elete DUmmies would have heard the pharse, "...'til the bitter end" by now.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Or given the preponderance of New Englanders on Skins's island, and their knowledge of baseball, the game isn't over until after nine innings, or at least until the losing team isn't up for bat any more.

Stupid primitives.  Really stupid primitives.  Just really stupid primitives.

FAtman once again misses the obvious.

Let's say B. Hussein Osama does win.  He'll have conservatives against him right off the bat.  And on top of that, everytime he messes up (and as incompetent as he is, he will mess up, and often) the Clinton voters will be on his case saying that it would have been better if she were in office because he's making the Dems look stupid.

Operation Chaos is a beautiful thing.

How f*cking communist do you have to be to think MSNBC is conservative? :lmao:
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

As either USA4ME or Tanker pointed out some time ago in our old home, Pedro Picasso thinks that any news outlet that doesn't have GEORGE BUSH IS A CRIMINAL (or something like that) emblazoned permanently across the bottom of the television screen, or as permanent front-page headlines in the newspaper, is 'right wing'.

The guy has no idea.  If you ever meet him, ask him what a falling American dollar means.

What do you think Pedro looks like, frank?

I'm thinking along the lines of that "Hamsters From Hell" DUmmy.

Nah.

Pedro Picasso is right at 50 years old, thinning blond hair, lives in Connecticut but lived in Florida as a lad.

In case he's lurking, this is information he posted himself; nobody tracked him down to find out.

The cautionary note was needed because of his rabidly-extreme paranoia.

I don't picture Pedro Picasso as being overweight, given the crowd he hangs around with in real life.

He hangs around with people who hang around with the Skakels in Connecticut.

He doesn't himself, but he hangs around with people who do.

A fat guy wouldn't be accepted in that kind of crowd.  So I reasonably assume Pedro Picasso has no excessive-weight problem.

Michael Skakel wasn't exactly the epitome of thin, Frank.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Michael Skakel wasn't exactly the epitome of thin, Frank.

Yeah, being on the lam and then in prison fattened him up.

But most of the Skakels, and the people they prefer, are thin.

"One can never be too rich or too thin" appears to be the Skakel motto.

It's a big family in Connecticut, the Skakels.
