The rules were changed this year and beach volleyball competitors have the option of wearing shorts and sleeved t-shirts if they wish

3. rules were changed because of culturual beliefs of some nations , but would it have been wrong to change it just because they might be cold ?i heard it was cold during some of these games.

Anybody who thought it was a good idea to wear bikinis in London needs his screws tightened.

Good for the US team for wearing something warm under them.

Screw the PTB that puts women in bikinis for any sport. You want a jiggle show, go watch Baywatch reruns, assholes.

One detects sour grapes in the defrocked warped primitive's last comment; after all, nobody's going to want to see her in a bikini.  Or even in a one-piece swimming suit.  Or even in a muu-muu. 

Maybe in a burqa, though.

I dunno about beach volleyball... don't watch it.

However... I watched the team volleyball the other day and the South Korean team had some HOT ladies!!!!!   :fuelfire: :fuelfire:

I heard one of the American women players say they liked wearing the same kind of outfits that they wear at the beach while competing.

Usually the ones that come up with the uniforms are the players themselves. I saw a few the other day with long sleeves and leggings underneath. But when it warmed up they were back to the usual uniform.

The US Women's team said they were wearing their bikinis when they can.  But with the climate in London they have the option to wear more, which when it's cold and rainy they do.

How come the DUmmies aren't bitching about the women's marathon runners? They were out in their bikini bottoms or shorty shorts and sport bras early this morning out in the rain. There were some well endowed wet women out trucking around.  :rofl:
