Bush and Quayle are smarter than dumb (Obama) and dumber (Biden).
You know, that always bothered me, how the "mainstream" media lampooned Dan Quayle as not very bright, a lightweight.
Every politician makes
gaffes; I can't think of one who hasn't.
When Alphonse Capote Gore emerged as the (D) candidate for the presidency in 2000, I thought it'd be nice if the "mainstream" media lampooned him as much as they had Dan Quayle.....and more so because he was more prone to even bigger, even more,
gaffes than Quayle had ever been.
Yeah, yeah, sure they did.
When Joseph Biden emerged as the (D) candidate for the vice presidency in 2008, I thought it'd be nice if the "mainstream" media lampooned him as much as they had Dan Quayle.....and more so because he was more prone to even bigger, even more,
gaffes than Quayle had ever been.
Yeah, yeah, sure they did.
Dan Quayle was no dummie; until 1992, he'd never lost an election in his life, even when he as an obscure nobody ran against a prominent (D) senator, and defeated him. Not only defeated him, but crushed him.
It's too bad that he had to retire after the 1992 campaign, but one can understand--despite his being a bright, articulate, decent person, the "mainstream" media had reduced him to a caricature, and it was just too much trouble to go against that.
I was really happy when his son won that congressional seat down there in Arizona in 2010.
