Obama knew it would hurt his image with others of his faith.
This was indeed a gutsy call, Obama had to make a decision between his advisers or the Pentagon.
Choice was to ignore his advisers and face their scorn or-- Keep ignoring the Pentagon and face a rebellion of the Brass. Not good to have the military screwing one up at every non decision he made.
One look at the Photo of him watching the TV screen play out tells the tale. The room was full before he got there, Hillery and a room full of VIPS that had known 24 hours ahead to time to adjust their schedules.
No way was Obama not told to be front and center at that time, so where the Heck was he?????
He decided to blow this whole thing and play golf. To his surprise he was taken off the course and escorted to the room of people all well dressed and waiting for him. He arrived dressed like your neighbor going to play a quick golf game. Only empty chair for him was in the back 2 rows and he slid down in his seat like a young kid not wanting to be noticed.
This is the Leader of the Free World, Attending a live program to capture our enemy. First time I know when America captured an enemy on live streaming telecast, all the top people leaders watching in attendance and the leader was hiding dressed like a golf pro.
Guts, Yup it must have taken allot for him to run home, change his clothes into a leaders suit and face the public and declare he was responsible for Victory. Guts to keep up his delusional life.
We have not had a rebellion on a large scale since the Civil War of our military. Darn but Obama is just asking for it, Since he knows little about American history, does he also know nothing of the history of the rest of the world????
No leader can command with out loyal and well taken care of their military and their family's. Loyalty to their country and respect of those who defend it. Leaders seldom fall due to outrage of their people, it is the outrage of the military that joins in with the citizens that removes them from office.
Lot's of luck to Gutsy Obama, this may be the Ides of November that get him.
