Sarah Palin is nothing.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's not the Tea Party they should fear.  They should fear the millions of Tea Party sympathizers like me.

I, like millions of others, have no official affiliation with any Tea Party.  I do, however, believe 100% in the cause.

Pretty much the same here (for logistical and time constraints).  That number is VERY large.

Good to get off work and hear this. Dewhurst is a putz. I'll be damned if I knew any of his positions since every ad I saw was something about how Cruz was a closet Communist or something like that. Way to go Ted.

His victory just goes to prove that another Cuban Repub conservative named Rubio would make a great choice for VP. Voters are looking for young fresh faces and want change. Looks like the establishment that backed his opponent came up on the short end.

Hi5....How sweet it is.

Wow Mormon on Mormon jealousy is pathetic. I went to church with a Mormon girl for a while. We partied together all the time and she was the girlfriend of one of the coolest (we thought at the time) bad boys. We were in middle school, any guy with a motorcycle was hot. Church lasted all freaking day. We'd sneak out and have our boyfriends meet us. As long as we got back before the service ended we were okay.

The only song I remember is "Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel" because they always played it at the beginning of the service in her ward. It could be the socialist/union manifesto:

1. The world has need of willing men
Who wear the worker’s seal.
Come, help the good work move along;
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

[Chorus]
Put your shoulder to the wheel; push along,
Do your duty with a heart full of song,
We all have work; let no one shirk.
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

2. The Church has need of helping hands,
And hearts that know and feel.
The work to do is here for you;
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

3. Then don’t stand idly looking on;
The fight with sin is real.
It will be long but must go on;
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

4. Then work and watch and fight and pray
With all your might and zeal.
Push ev’ry worthy work along;
Put your shoulder to the wheel.

Funny thing is, I always thought she was a dyke until she started dating my boyfriend's biker buddy. She was very masculine. She always wore a flannel shirt (here in OR you mostly saw those on lumberjacks) and blue jeans. Don't even think she owned a pair of heels. Her parents made her wear a dress to church but it was always a denim skirt with her flannel shirt and flats. It was such an absurd and weird religion. Of course, when I was a little girl I thought it was cool because Donny Osmond was a Mormon. Now I'm embarrassed that I ever owned the album with "Puppy Love" on it. Kinda scares me that Reid and Romney share the same faith. At least Romney's not a Marxist.

I'm fortunate to be among their ranks.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

He only won the primary.  If he wins the election, that will be a great show of force for the Tea Party.  As far as defeat and taste and stuff like that, the GOP establishment is the one with the sour taste in the mouth.  I couldn't be happier.  Palin beats Perry on his home floor.  Giddy up.

That's hilarious that he had CFA at his party!   :rofl:

Congrats to Ted on the primary.  I read a really good article about him, and liked what I saw.

DUmmies and their ilk think the Tea Party is dead, only because we're not seen on the streets as much anymore.  We're too busy getting things done.
