Haaretz prints a lot of garbage rumors, in fact the whole Israeli press is pretty undiscriminating in separating rumors from fact before rushing to press, so there may not even really be a leak. There is no doubt a plan, of some sort, but that's because we have a plan for everything including war with Mexico and/or Canada, because cranking out war plans for things that might or might not happen is what military contingency planners spend their careers doing.
However, I am not optimistic that a strike would mean the termination of Iran's program, whether we do it from a carrier or the Israelis do it overland. Everyone concerned learned a lot from both Osirak and the Israeli takedown of the secret Syrian facility. I believe the Iranian nuclear infrastructure is too dispersed and hardened for any single strike to be a lethal blow to it.
