The ID laws are intended to prevent voter fraud, but the left has turned it into a racial issue like they do with every issue when they have no valid argument to put forth.

Bingo!

That and obama needs to allow voter fraud to get elected. Just ask Acorn...

Why are you so racist?

Is it simply because you're a Democrat?

In TexMex's world, people of color must be too stupid to be able to find ID in time to vote. It must be unfortunate to think so little of people like that.

Yes, and if TexMex gets banned we will have him to thank for making the word "vote" a racist word, and thus added to the list of banned words.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

So you're for election fraud I see. Then again, since you're a DUmmy, that goes without saying.

I think Voter ID laws are a good thing. I don't know about you but I think if you need a picture ID to rent a video at Blockbuster, to drive a car or to cash a check then you should need a picture ID to vote. It's not a racist thing either as picture ID's are very easy to get...just go down to your state's DMV and fill out the form and, viola, you get your ID....no fuss, no muss.

Fail.  No "Jooooos" option.

DUmmie, I hope you realize that many of us yank the chains of push pollers and just give wacky answers on purpose.  Though I expect the one vote for the second choice was your own.

I'm sorry that I only have time once a day to come on here and be attacked by all of you, my deepest apologies.  In response to the outlandish accusations:  Your own Republican Partay has even admitted there has not been one case of voter fraud in the state of PA.  Thats the only defense I need.  And its not just about poor democrats having to go get the proper ID. The three plaintiffs in the case are UNABLE to get the neccesary ID thereby disenfranchising 3 WHITE voters from voting.  Every American has an intrinsic right to vote.  I was hoping that even on a conservative forum that you would be able to openly admit this is about voter suppression and not about the myth of voter fraud. Please, someone find me a case of PA voter fraud and I will never return to this site,

In what case would anyone be unable to get an ID ?

Again, please show where the RNC/GOP has admitted NO voter fraud exists.  Trust me, I can show you PLENTY of instances of Dems trying to disenfranchise military voters, registering children, pets, etc.

Then again, the NBPP was in Philly in 2008, weren't they?  Does voter intimidation and threats not bother you?

While every QUALIFIED American has a right to vote, we have the right to determine if in fact they are qualified and eligible to vote in the district/precinct/state in which they wish to cast a ballot.

Kinda goes back to the whole "integrity" issue we've been having with another poster of late.

Liberal hacks don't believe in proof...accusations are all that's important to them...they believe their accusations are proof enough for anything they claim.

A letter I got in the mail yesterday:

Quote
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Department of State

Dear Fellow Voter,

My goal, as Secretary of the commonwealth, is to make sure that every eligible voter has an opportunity to vote and that every vote counts.

Pennsylvania's new voter identification law requires voters to show a photo ID when we vote. This gives one person one vote.

There are many forms of acceptable photo IDs, but every ID must have a current expiration date, unless noted otherwise. This is a list of acceptable photo IDs:

  • Photo ID issued by the U.S. Government or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Pennsylvania driver's license ornon-drivers license photo ID (IDs are valid for boting purposes 12 months past expiration date)
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • U.S. Military ID[...]
  • Employee photo ID issued by Federal PA, PA County, or PA Municipal Government
  • Photo ID from an accredited Pennsylvania public or private college, university, or seminary
  • Photo ID issued by a Pennsylvania care facility, including long-term care facilities, assisted living residences or personal care homes

If you don not have one of these IDs and need one for voting purposes, you are entitled to a non-driver's license photo ID from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) free of charge.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.

U.S. Attorney Investigating ACORN in Philadelphia. Of the applications turned in by ACORN, almost 8,000 are questionable and 1,500 have already been turned over to the U.S. Attorney's office for investigation into possible voter registration fraud. Philadelphia Deputy Election Commissioner Fred Voight has told reporters that the way many of ACORN's applications were collected is the source of their concern. ACORN attorney Kathryn Simpson asserts there are safeguards in place to prevent voter fraud. [1]

Other problems in Pennsylvania

ACORN turned in 78,376 voter applications from April 28, 2008 through Oct. 6, 2008, 6,962 have been rejected to date. 80,000 applications (from ACORN and other sources) were duplicate applications and have been rejected. ACORN has been involved in other voter registration controversies in Pennsylvania. In Dauphin County on July 24, Dauphin County detectives offered a $2,000 reward for information about the whereabouts of Luis R. Torres-Serrano, an ACORN worker, who was accused of submitting more than 100 fraudulent voter registrations. Jemar Barksdale, a former ACORN employee Oct. 21, was arrested in Delaware County on felony theft and forgery charges for allegedly submitting dozens of phony voter-registration applications.

If you want to show proof of voter fraud, all you have to do is look at ACORN. They registered everything to vote for obama, including the sap tree in my front yard.
