I don't know the answer because I haven't looked up the stats.

Many of the libs and DU goons seem to think that we should ban guns because so many people per year die from gun shots.

How does the number of gun related deaths per year compare to the number of deaths related to STDs (including HIV/AIDs) that resulted from homosexual activity?

If it's a large number I would assume that we would need to been homosexuality also, right?

According to this http://www.photius.com/rankings/population/hiv_aids_deaths_2011_0.html 22,000 AIDS related deaths in the US alone last year.

So that's just AIDs. There are other STDs that cause death that would increase the number.

Last time I checked there was somewhere around 30,000 gun deaths. I think that number included suicides and police shootings.

Hell--I just graduated from a 2200-pound killing machine (Saturn SL) to a 4400-pound killing machine (Toyota RAV4).  Though, I don't go around looking for people and/or pets to kill.

How many were gun deaths by the legal owner of the firearm? They skew the numbers all the time. Every time someone wants to talk about how many children are killed via gun they include those up to 21. They also don't pull out crime related deaths. IE gang related shootings with illegal guns.

The liberal havens with the strictest gun laws skew the gun related deaths.
