Where are you on the global fat scale?

edit to note that my intent is not to have people disclose their weight; just as a means to see how we and the world fare weight wise (which is often an indicator of health and health costs) http://www.cdc.gov/obesity/adult/causes/index.html
worth the time...

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002972122Another oppertunity for DUmmies to lie through their teeth. I'm 135lbs, and my BMI is 19. I'm lower than 96% of males 15-29 in this country, and 78% in the world. It says I would compare with an Asian male 15-29. Lol. Also says that I am only 4 points away from starvation. Untrue. I'm fine. Muscular, fit, high ass metabolism. Many people in fact wish they could be me.

1. I have a BMI less than 71% of Americans but 61% higher than the rest of the world...
You have to type United States for country or it will not work.
What primitive, too embarassed to list your actual BMI?

22. Thanks, didn't see that, and it said I am most likely from Tonga
with a bmi of 62, LOL. Anyone who has seen Biggest Loser regularly knows what Tonga means.
I have a BMI of 28, lower than 64% of females in my age group. That is sad, but I knew that
already...all I have to do is go anywhere in public to see that. It seems worse here in Pa than
it was in Maryland, and the grocery stores carry some hideous stuff; hard to find low fat and/or
low salt and/or vegetarian anything here.
Holy frijoles! Don't wear a yellow shirt, OK, Deb. Kids might want to ride you to school.

31. I cannot be offended
My abs are rock hard and reject humor like a pinball paddle on a stainless steel ball bearing.
My abs laugh at fatness. Moral goodness is stomped fatness.

28. 6'2' 300 lbs. 39 BMI higher than 97% in the USA. That's a little misleading.
I'm fairly large naturally. I can be pretty lean at 275. I do a lot of lifting at the gym but should back off. My guts not that big. I have kind of an old school circus strongman look.
I got carried away thinking I could get into some senior power lifting at 50 or some crazy thing. I got to where I could bench 300 lbs again but could tell I was going to tear up my shoulder if I went any farther. Now I keep thinking I'm going to change my diet and workout to lean out a little. I probably need to just quit lifting and just do cardio.
My bp is good and cholesterol and all that. I donate triple units of blood platelets every two weeks. Not bad for a big fat guy.
Hmmm, good, making the excuse that you bench your weight to cover up for the fact that you're higher than almost all of the freaking country. Guess what, I'm 135, and can bench 100. Could probably do a bit more if I strained myself, but dropping 100+ pounds on my throat is not on my priority list.
Kinda hard to do your own weight, or close to it when you have fat flopping off your wrists. Liar.

42. The BMI (as I've seen here) is for those too uneducated to know better.
Promoted by doctors that are absolutely clueless in nutrition but afraid to own up to it.
This from a vegan who apparently doesn't know the body needs PROTIEN from delicious cows, bears, pigs, bird, etc MEAT! That's how you build muscle, DUmmy.
