Not two minutes ago a moron co-worker comes up to me
He's a well known repuke/ ball licker.

My building, where I work in Austin, over looks the Austin Music Hall.

President Obama is speaking there tomorrow. Sadly, I can't go.

Anyway, this moron sidles up to me and says, "you know this would make a great vantage point".

I'm confused right off the bat, I'm thinking, sure this is a great view to see the President, but this moron is right wing.

So I say, "what do you mean?"

He says, "well you would have a clear shot" And he makes the hand gesture of a gun.

The I say, "at whom?" I'm just about ready to speed dial the Secret Service.

Then he says, "well, you know...(long pause)"

"No. I don't", my blood is beginning to boil a this moment. "tell me".

Then he looks me in the eyes, (he's not a bright person, but I think something clicked). "just, you know, anyone".

Then I say, "if you have something to say, say it".

Then he says, "well, you know he has a big contract out on him"

"On Whom?" I kept pressing.

Then he finally says, "the president".

If I wasn't at work, I would have punched him in the mouth, but instead I said, "so are you advocating shooting the president?"

It was at this point, I think it dawned on him that 1) he was certainly speaking to the wrong person 2) I wouldn't have hesitated for a moment to call the Secret Service and finally 3) that he was a colossal jackass.

He then coughs stumbles through some bullshit unintelligible something than finally says, "oh no, no not at all".

then I just looked at him, like the filth that he is and said, "I'm done with this conversation. Don't speak to me again unless it regards something to do with work."

He exclaims, "me too!" and walks away.

There is another one without the bushes, the big round of applause as he is walking away, how hundreds of people registered as democrat because of him, and how everyone in the room is listening to what he is saying (as he raises his voice). Are they changing the script or something?

Let's look at some of the things that seem out of place in this story.

1) The moonbat has a job.
2) The moonbat remains so quiet concerning politics at the job that the repuke didn't even know he was a moonbat.
3) The repuke, and not the moonbat, suggests violence against a political figure.
4) The moonbat, instead of ranting and raving like a lunatic, remains calm and stern.

Hopefully, Javaman has wallduded himself, as Skins has now contacted the Secret Service.  I would LOVE to be a bug on the wall when Javaman has to explain that he was lying...I'm sure his employer will be thrilled to have the Secret Service crawling all over his business.

The Secret Service is aware of the thread -- I have discussed it with them. They advised me to remove the thread.

That is all.

ON EDIT: There is no need to rec this thread. I just put this up so you all would know where Javaman's thread went.

SECOND EDIT: To those of you who are curious: Javaman did not post anything inappropriate. He shared a story about something inappropriate his co-worker said.

125. Javaman is a longtime citizen of DU.

I presume he did the correct thing. I hope that he cannot post because he's being interviewed by Secret Service. Unless, the Secret Service -- possibly understandably -- asks him not to follow up, I imagine he will post a follow-up.

If he doesn't, do not bust his chops about it. Many of us old timers would gladly vouch for his integrity.

Plus, two DUers in this very thread have indicated that they have called this in.

Nevertheless, we all are -- like National Enquirer readers -- enquiring minds.

And thanks for your service here, Javaman.
Riiiiiight.  Javaman can't follow up because he's working with the Secret Service to bring the rethug to justice.   :bs:

Javaman, walk away from your job and go on the run, the rethug is trying to set you up as a patsy.  Well, that's what the rethug would do in a movie.

Javaman, if you need some drama in your life maybe you should start watching General Hospital or some other harmless outlet for your fantasies.

The Secret Service doesn't mess around. Once they get information of any type threat being made against the President. They are the persons house or place of business with in 24 hours. I know this from experience, as when I was a kid a neighbor called them on my grandfather. He tried to tell them that my grandfather was plotting to shoot President Clinton. When they showed up at my house to talk to my grandfather about it they found a 75 year old man who could hardly walk! After we explained to them that the idiot neighbor is a psycho path, they went to visit him. To this day I am unsure as to what they did to him, or said to him, but after that he didn't talk to us for a couple of years (In fact he finally spoke to us when my grandfather died, and that was for about five minutes to give us his condolences). They must have put a big scare into him.

If that moonbat was lying about his co-worker. He can be in for some real world awakening.

It has to be a bouncy.  Javaman says a coworker said they have a good shooting position?  Sorry but I've never seen a McDonalds that wasn't on the ground floor.  :loser:

I wonder of Skimmer has a direct hotline to the Secret Service.

He probably has them on speed dial, and has a certain agent that he speaks with personally.

That is probably a lie also - he just wanted the thread deleted.

Of course it is copied here for the SS to review.  :-)

Given their posting history, I'm sure the SS has a hotline to $kammer.

No/ Its the other way around. DU is infamous for making death threats against President Bush. Hence DU is on a subversive website watch list.

Once this lie was posted, the SS hit the phone and called Skinner, something the skin man is used to by now.

We all know this bouncy is a lie. My only question is this: Will Javaman falsely accuse an innocent man to the SS?

Um, the Odinnumbers DUmmy doesn't like it when we use "-tard" as a suffix.

One of the lessons JavaDUmmy might take home from this has two parts:

Don't get into political discussions with coworkers while at work.

After ignoring part 1, don't make posts on a public forum while at work.

Whatever company he works for - McDonald's, Starbucks, Walmart - is not paying hime for those activities.
This too shall pass.
