Bell bottoms, converse tennyrunners, concert t-shirt, jean jacket with the sleeves rolled up a little and a little red ford falcon.

I guess there won't be many men here willing to admit to owning a powder blue jumpsuit.  :-)

I can imagine the BO that gets trapped under there after a hot day of selling Quaaludes and planning swingers parties.

I have never understood why folkes wear belts on outerwear.

You nedd a belt to hold your trousers up...fine.

but a sweater?

And ladies, for what it's worth...a dress with a belt that holds up nothing?  :???:

They used the belts to clip their cell phones and ipods on.

Reminds me.

25 years ago, a young fellow that thought he was a babe magnet walked into a bar with a skin tight "Biker Suit" on. The barmaid and waitresses were all laughing and I turned to see what was so funny. He was standing near me just as proud as he could be. I looked him up and down and told him, "Next time don't forget your dick".
He got bright red, mad as hell and left in a huff. :lmao: :lmao:

Good.....................Lord.

You can tell the 70's is when LSD really came into vogue.

Glad I'm young enough to have been a child through this calamity.

Of course, the '80's had parachute pants.

Parachute pants, Jams, high tops, and a fascination with bright neon and pastel colors.  It wasn't much of an improvement.

Through it all I've worn jeans and regular shirts.

I hate to say it...but I graduated from high school in 1976. I though many of those outfits were cool.

I wore a powder blue leisure suit.
I had ties as wide as a bib.
I had a gold balloon sleeve shirt with a collar almost as wide as my shoulders.
All my pants were flares.
I has zip up half boots.

and the 70's gals thought I was totally hot.

Please take pity on me.

I thought Member's Only jackets were cool, but I was in the 6th grade at the time.
