Lurked at DU for a bit during the 2000 election season, when a poster there mentioned CU and went there to check it out.  Same issues as everyone else after that, the Rontards, Gator going off the deep end, CU crashing and having to re-sign up.  Decided to cool it on the forums for a while and found this place with most of the people from CU.

Win One For The Gipper told me about CU when we were at Free Republic.
I posted at CU until a whole lot of folks got fed up with Gator and his crap, and Reb decided to open the doors here. If I may brag a little I helped come up with the name Conservative Cave.  :-)

I never heard of Conservative Cave until a couple of years ago, I'm on the DUFU Ping List at FR and I got the Ping about the Will Pitt/Bobo fight where Pitt threatened Bobo and was banned at DU, there was a link in the DUFU to CC so I clicked on it and really liked it here.
