So this guy I'm talking to is flapping his jaw about "small businesses

making over $250,000" exempt from the latest tax cut proposal are being targeted by Obama unfairly and yadda yadda yadda....job creators yadda yadda.

So I say, "hey it's a great deal for ALL small businesses making $250,000 and over"

So I wait for him to finish calling me every name in the book.

"are you finished"? I say. I finally get to speak my mind.

"Under Obama's tax plan cut EVERYONE gets a tax cut...Mr Business man who mAkes for example, $300,000, gets a tax cut on his first $250,000 and is taxed only on the difference".

What came out of his mouth next sounded like gurgling combined with choking.

There is no tax cut. If the tax rates are extended then everyone will be paying the same rate next year that they pay this year, unless you get your wish and raise taxes on income over 250k then those people will see an increase in their overall tax bill. Now if you really want to soak the rich let all the tax rates expire and every penny that the evil rich make will be taxed higher, sure the middle class will suffer too, but the rich will get soaked and that will make things right.

3. That's something Obama needs to hammer. EVERYONE gets a cut. The rich don't get a special cut.

Everyone gets the tax cut on their first $250000 in income. There is just no extra tax cut specifically targetting the extremely wealthy.

Once again no one is getting a tax cut, you are either getting to stay at the same rate or have your taxes raised there are no cuts.

I'm not exactly an economic expert, but a business with a revenue of $1 million sounds pretty lean to me. Once you factor in taxes, gas prices, government regulations, and every other nickle and dime expense, $1 million can go pretty quick. I bet if we looked at most small business owners and compared their salary against the hours that they put in, when it's all said and done they don't even get minimum wage. And these freaks want them to pay more in taxes.
