My bet would be either AIDS or he's gone too mental to be trotted out in public. I think for drug rehab they'd try to play the sympathy angle instead of hiding the ball, Americans and espeically the stupid emo DemonRat base voters love a redemption story, and reality TV has not only taken the stigma out of drug rehab but even made it somewhat fashionable.
Whatever it is, his handlers must have decided it has a zero-to-negative sympathy value.
I obviously don't have any idea what is wrong with him, but I agree with you DAT, that it's something other than just drugs and/or alcohol rehab for the same reasons.
Getting treatment for drugs/alcohol is so common anymore, and as seen as courageous(which it is!) as opposed to not dealing with the problem and hiding it and one's subsequent behavior when "under the influence". Many people who in up in treatment facilities, often get there due to family/friends/coworkers interventions. Of the people I have known that have gone into treatment facilities, that have been kept "top secret" so to speak, have been a couple of local doctors. Even with them, it got around the medical community and their social circles, within a few weeks, that they were in "treatment" and whether it was pills or alcohol ( I knew 2 personally that went - 1 for pills and 1 for alcohol). Residential treatment facilities were a condition of keeping their medical licenses. Both went on to 20+ years of successful medical practices. One retired, and unfortunately the other one (that I knew well) died 2 yrs ago from ALS.
Even depression has lost it's stigma, as so many people are legitimately being diagnosed with chronic/clinical depression. It is a real illness, just as bipolar is. But those are also treatable with medication and don't usually involve residential treatment, unless, there were attempted suicide episodes prior to treatment. Years ago, (20+) both the ex's mother and niece attempted suicide. They were both in Nebraska at the time, both ended up in the hospital as a result, and both went directly from hospital to residential treatment facility. At that time, the state of NE required a minimum 30 day stay in a residential treatment center after a suicide attempt. I don't know what states require now, but here in TN suicide attempts are only kept a mandatory 72 hours in either the hospital or treatment center, if that long.
I don't see how JJJ's "problem" can just be drugs/alcohol/depression, even if it's a combination of those things as being something to hide, unless a suicide attempt was made. If he did try suicide, maybe he tried with something that did visible physical harm to his body....like with a gun. Women will usually use pills or slit their wrists. Men tend to be more violent.
The other thing too, is that he is in Arizona. Mayo Clinic has a huge facility in Phoenix. Maybe he's getting a combination of treatments - psych and plastic....
If this was a Republican, the MSM would already have all the nitty-gritty details.
Diggin' into JJJ's issue won't be as persistant by the MSM, cause they probably are afraid of being called racist if they do....
