Hi from Texas
« on: July 08, 2012, 11:17:16 PM »
Good evening, everyone.

I'm a father of twin boys living in what I call "Purple" Texas. (Blue part of a red state).

I love God, my country, my family.

Been lurking here for a few days, and like the overall feeling of this board. (especially on the DUmmy section).

Looking forward to interacting with everyone.

Jason!

Hi back from TX. You must either be from Austin, Houston or DFW.  I'm in a nice red part.  Enjoy your stay, folks around here are OK.

Try just a little farther south. When you hear the cartel gunfire, stop.

That's alright. I'm used to being in the "redheaded stepchild" area.

Howdy from Copperas Cove , Texas.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Not yet you ain't.

Although I did spend a brief 9-month period in a particular kind of hellhole called Ft. Hood back in 1982. Used a re-up option to escape that sucking chest wound.

I'll be going back in September, however, to do a couple of audits. Connect with a friend or three. Raise some hell. Meet up with Tots and maybe BEG, Mike220, Thor, and the rest of you Texas critters.  :-)
