have thought you might have found something more profound to comment on for the first time. I am sure you know more about boating than I do but there just seem to be too many little people on that boat to be safe...too many little people and two few adults. I live on a lake and I can tell you first hand that these damn high powered boats ruin things for everybody...people and wildlife. If this was a picture of Obama there would be hell to pay.

Raven knows how many adults should be on the boat!   :-)

It has nothing to do with boating (or Jet ski) safety, or anything of that nature. It has to do with out-of-touch rich people playing around at their private lakeside mansion. I think that's what the overarching majority take from it.

As the military drawdown progresses, this poster just might be unlucky enough to have a better sense of what it feels like to be one of the Great Unwashed....even more so if the Coastie spouse hasn't racked up enough years on deck to be eligible for retirement.

To me, that "first post" tells me more than the poster might have intended.

They were in France on the 4th this year? Nope, they were in Washington Celebrating Malia's 14th birthday.

My understanding was that they were going to go over seas, but caved into the pressure and stayed here.
