Finishing too soon

San Diego fireworks fail is unintentional art

The Big Bay Boom — San Diego’s Independence Day Fireworks spectacular, billed as one of the largest shows in the country — has finally lived up to its name.

A technical glitch caused all of the fireworks to go off at once, igniting the sky with approximately 15 seconds of angry, simultaneous explosions. The show was supposed to last 18 minutes. In a statement on their Web site, Garden State Fireworks said they were working to determine what technical problem caused the launches.

Was it good for you?

That is expensive.  Who paid for it?

If they're anything like ours, they were paid for by a consortium of Big Evil Corps, headed by a couple-three one-percenters who have somehow gotten their names, and their wives names, plastered all over the people's 'Bamacare facilities ("hospitals") as well as three or four museums and concert/sports venues.  Buncha wastes of flesh and oxygen thieves, I'll tell you.  And they employ the bulk of the downtrodden wage slaves in the metro area as well, the bastids.  Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster (gratings and sauce be upon him) I'm not one of them...I work for the City.

Penn State University paid for them. They do every year. It is on the University grounds at Beaver Stadium and The Bryce Jordan Center. They had almost 100,000 people there this year. Their fireworks displays draw about as big a crowd as the football games do.
