I got tired of the excuses for it all coming from his family.   I tried to get his dad to let him stay in the county correctional facility for the DUI wreck.  The corrections officers thought he could still be rehabilitated but it would take some time.  Now, none of them will even try.

Nine times. Yup-- nine times-- six at gunpoint, other three with threat of gun. Mid-late eighties when I worked graveyard shift at a convenience store on the east side of Fort Worth while putting myself through college at UTA.

Those nine time didn't deplete me of compassion-- it's entirely my choice whether to allow it or not, and it's certainly not predicated on what someone completely different may have done-- that would simply be an excuse. For me, picking and choosing who should or should not have my compassion is a game for idiots... though you may believe differently.

This one leaves me speechless.

What was the name of the Hanging Judge? He was a Florida Judge known for giving people sentences of a couple of hundred years or more.

Six armed robberies and three implied, which legally is the same thing, is a statistical anomaly. Hell, I'd bet that the FBI doesn't cover date for that high a number.
