Tonight .. I Pray
« on: June 27, 2012, 07:54:05 PM »
There is a foreboding atmosphere hanging over my home this evening.

I am not a guy who prays very often but tonight, I am not praying for myself alone .. I am praying for the America that I once knew!

I want my Children and Grandchildren to have the same opportunities and 'live' as I and my parents lived .. 'Free'!

I no longer trust the Government or the legal system and so .. my prayer is that The SCOTUS tomorrow will not prove me right!

God Bless You and Yours!

(Thank You for allowing me this time and forum to voice my thoughts .. and my fears!)

Amen brother.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Of course, my biggest fear is that if Government can 'order' you to purchase health insurance .. it sets a precedent that Government can 'order' you to not only purchase what you 'must' purchase but  will also have full control over all aspects of our lives!

Since the Government will control health care and almost everything you do, from eating and drinking to exercise and sleep to where you work .. or even how you get to work .. affects your health .. Government will be in complete control of our lives!

As Joe Biden said .. "This is a BIG F-ing deal!"

(It's going to be a long night!)

I too fear that if this stands there is no telling what the geniuses in Washington DC will come up with next for us. If they can force citizens to enter a contract with a private entity then the possibilities are endless, can they mandate that we all buy a Chevy Volt? How about a requirement to own a cellphone? If this stands we are screwed.

Here's the deal:
In this bill is the 'mandate' that the insurance companies MUST cover preexisting conditions.

The reason for this is that they (government) know that NO insurance company can remain profitable in doing such a thing and will go out of business!

You will then have a Government in Full control because 'They' will be the ONLY insurance provider left after all the others fail!

Hence: Death Panels for the useless and elderly!
(Gotta control costs after all!)
