Hello everyone I am Samuel Benjameen Yahya, and I am new to the forum. I am of Syrian and Israeli origin but I was born in San Diego. I moved to England when I was 7 but now I am back home (I am working in San Francisco). I live and work in a really, really liberal/socialist area and it just kills me listening to their "socialist" values day in and day out. I really need to get away and start talking to people who think like me. So I found this forum. I am guessing your all conservatives who respect free market capitalism, family values, the Judeo-Christian values this great country was started on and small government.

I am just waiting for twins to get a little older (their only 9 months old) and my wife to get her doctorate. When that's done I am off to live in Texas or Arizona. I can't stay in California, my kids will turn into pot smoking, gay befriending, gun fearing and atheist communist if I stay here. I can not seriously raise a god fearing family here. The only reasons I am here is my wife got a scholarship at USF and I got a job at an engineering job at family construction firm.

Not criticizing you.  Man's got to do what he's got to do. Take good care of your family, keep us posted here & I'll see you in TX when you get here. (I don't want to sway you but they have a serious cootie problem in AZ)

Is there any place on earth when one can raise children be away from pot smoking, gay, gun fearing, atheists ???

I do hope you can vote in November against a President that is a self proclaimed pot smoker, gay befriending, and unsure if he is a Christian or Muslim.

Remember it is up to YOU to instill the values in your children's life, not the comunity how ever bad  or good it is.
Then the very best teaching the children get does not insure they will follow You're teachings.

Kids are curious creatures, be prepared for double trouble, Listen to them talk, kids know more then we do about the era they are born into.

@Vesta111, I understand what your saying. Don't worry, my kids will be raised right without a doubt. And I can still vote, my family never took British citizenship. 4 more years of Obama will turn our great nations into a laughing stock! We cannot allow a man that goes around apologizing for our way of life to sit in the Oval Office.
