The thing that is just so astounding to me, is that there are people (probably Obama included), in that camp that find it inconceivable that as a blushing new bride, I wouldn't want to donate all potential presents (monetary value), to one Barack Obama, the Magnificent. 

Why would I want treasured keepsakes from loved ones, to perhaps pass down to my children and grandchildren, such as the start of a silver and china collection?  The One needs this more than I do!  They really do think that way?  I'm sorry to keep this thread bumped up, but I'm still just utterly shocked.
