I have been told I am not to do any exercise because of my back. I am actually feeling ALOT better when I walk.  I am thinking seriously about doing crunches even though they hurt to see if I can have those results like your wife.  I am so desparate for the pain to stop.  My exteme meds are even not doing what they did in the beginning.  They actually upped me to 50mgs of Fentanyl yesterday, I was on 25mgs.  I am scared I am going to be on this shit the rest of my life and I don't want that.  I want to go a day without taking medicine or even a pill.

Yes, but aren't your back issues related to something else other than boobage?

Yes but I figure that it couldn't be that bad to try something different since the blocks and meds are not doing it.  Gotta try something else.

I would like to add something in here if I may.

My first wife was a DD when we met and gradually became a EE.  She complained about back problems and such all the time.  I understand that carrying extra weight on the front can cause you to bend at the back and that will cause back issues.  What my first wife did not factor into her problem was that her waist had grown proportionally to her breasts.

When she went to our doctor to talk to him about this, he looked at her chart and her weight change.  He told her that he was not surprised that her back was hurting considering she looked as if her activity level had gone down significantly and her core strength (abdomen) appeared to be a bit atrophied.  His recommendation was that she first get off the couch and get outside more, strengthen her core, and come back to see him in 6 months.  The goofy witch did just that (the only time she ever listened to common sense) and, voila, her back pain went away.  Her cup size went back to a D/DD, but the exercise did a lot for her.

Ladies, what do you think?  I know this is just one anecdotal example, but I am curious as to what you have to say.
Completely agree! I have a coworker who is in the same boat but she refuses to listen to the doctor. I keep telling her to start out slowly and exercise and she'll lose some weight and it will greatly help.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

A suggestion, I have severe lower back problems (S-1 through L-3) (VA 60%).  Started swimming two years ago as that was about all that was left for exercise.  It has helped a lot & I have no idea why.  Currently only meds I'm on are Excedrin.

Ladies, what do you think?  I know this is just one anecdotal example, but I am curious as to what you have to say.

I think this is significant.  Abdominal support is really important for a healthy back, as is good posture.  I strongly believe in having a supportive bra, especially for working out.  I pay about $60 for my sports bras because they are really good quality.  Finding a "high impact" sport bra when you are busty is difficult, but so worth it if you plan to take up running or any other vigorous activity.

I'm a DD, and while I do need to lose weight, I've never had any serious back problems.  I run at least 3 times a week and I really focus on upper body strength training to improve the muscles in my upper back.

As a side note, I lost 20 pounds about 5 years ago and actually went up a cup size.  I was pretty excited  :yahoo:

a very perky "c"

Oh Sea a friend of mine way back when had boobs that were different by 2 inches.  Her Mom hand made, altered her bras so it was not noticeable.

When she was in late 20ies her larger breast expanded big time, other breast all so grew but not enough to even it out.

She finally went to a plastic surgeon to have them Match,  went in for breast reconstruction and after the operation was told that she had 32 oz of cysts in one and 12 oz in the other.   Non malignant at that time but 10 years down the road who knew.

She showed me the after operation with stitches still in and darn they took her down to a 32-B.   Strange as they had to remove her nipples and sew them back on.

This suited her, she was 5' 4" and weighted about 104 pounds.  First time as a grown woman she could wear clothing that were stylish and not huge.

Big difference in her, she now had much better posture and could wear sexy clothing.  Total personality change in her, no longer did men look at her boobs, they now got to know her with her perkey 32 B's

.Strange as the Doctors told her she would never be able to breast feed again, but 5 years later she had a baby and the boobies worked, yup to her surprise and the doctors she flowed like a spigot.

Between you and me girl, men chase after the big boobed woman as a fantasies BUT when it comes to a wife it surprises me the men that will leave the boomers women to marry those with much less cleavage.

Perhaps the men can tell us why, the pros and cons of marring a over weight woman to marrying a woman of smaller perportions ????

Vesta, you really do have prejudice against women with larger breasts, don't you.   :whatever:  You seem to be convinced that men don't settle down with women over a B cup or so, and that those of us with larger breast just run around on out men anyways, and that we don't breast feed out children.

Seriously, at least try thinking before you post.

Thank you! I logged in to post the same exact thing.

As for all the other comments, I agree with you and wasp, CR. I think core and shoulder/upper body strength goes a long way to a healthier back(obviously not speaking for those with serious issues that now require more then that). I think women really get hit hard in the back problems because they shy away from weight training for fear of being bulky forgetting that #1 women aren't designed to bulk up in the order of things and that #2 given that it takes a lot of weight and maybe even eh-um drug manipulation to bulk up in the fashion women are afraid of.
