The apparently ephemeral drama between Bristol Palin and a man at a bar who yelled obscenities at her about her mother Sarah is now suing the younger Palin for defaming him. Stephen Hanks, an LA talent manager who later called Bristol Palin “homophobic” and “trash” to TMZ, is suing her and the Lifetime network for airing footage of himself shouting at Palin at a bar, which he said he never gave permission for.

According to Reuters, Hanks filed suit today for defamation, invasion of privacy, and infliction of emotional distress because Palin ask if he was homosexual during the encounter and blamed the bar incident for her decision to move away from Los Angeles:

“Bristol Palin’s conduct was outrageous”, states the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters.

“Bristol Palin first accused Plaintiff off ‘being a homosexual’ in a degrading manner in front of others … she then in a magazine article blamed Plaintiff for her decision to leave Los Angeles for Alaska even though she had purchased her home in Alaska … more than two months before the encounter,” the lawsuit adds.

None of those people have given their permission to appear in the report and none is needed. If you start screaming profanities in a public bar with cameras going you will have no case.

The guy is banking that the 9th circus will agree because no sane judiciary would even let this get to trial. If you have an argument in a public place while camera are obviously on scene and rolling, and you end up on film as a result, then you have nobody to blame but yourself.

I would say what he wanted was to berate Palin on camera, the entire bar to back him up, and for her to just slink off like a wounded animal- as this is the usual outcome in a typical bouncy tale.

Suffice it to say, real life doesn't work quite like the stories liberals tell each other.

Darn from the title of the thread I thought Bristol was being sued by someone in Israel.

What a mess when a grown man will heckle a young woman over her mother.  This turd would most likely never have the balls to do so had she been a son.   

Them there is fighting words when someone a stranger comes up and insults the mother of another. 
Had this been me, a good smack on the head with a beer bottle and a kick to the groin following.

One can mess with ME but when my Mother is not respected, back off, clear the decks, get ready for a Punch right between the running lights.

I've seen the clip. The asshole has the nerve to tell her her mother is evil. Over what? Because you don't agreed with her values? He's a ***** who got his ass handed to him and now wants to get his 2 lbs of flesh since he was in effective at doing it in a bar.and since when is being called a homosexual defamation for a lib?  I thought just the thought of someone perceiving them as part of that special class o people would have any lib all in a quiver.

Oh, DUmmy, you mean that little prick who hacked Sarah Palin's email address and used it to publish a lot of the Palins' personal information (i.e. addresses, phone numbers) online, which in turn led to a bunch of psychos stalking and threatening Bristol and Willow? Nice to know that worthless mound of human garbage is at least paying for his crimes.

Bristol nailed that loser Hanks (Who looks and acts like a gay version of Biff from 'Back to the Future') when he heckled her. He's just whining like the pathetic worm he is, angry that she made a fool of him (Not a difficult feat) on national television, and trying to mke an easy buck playing the lawsuit lottery.
True to form for the DUmmies, they're siding with the jerk (First the email hacker, now Hanks) over the decent people he harassed (The Palins).

Just as an aside, the 9th Circuit is no longer a circus. About half a dozen superlibs have retired off the court, replaced with Bush appointees; Obama has only had one replacement opportunity which he hasn't taken. But more and more decisions are mainstream as of late.

I watched this tonight. This guy was 47 years old and a total asshole to her. He yells out after she rides a bull 'did you ride levi like that? Your moms a whore'. She confronted him and was calm and polite and persistent and all the table full of homos could do was lobby profanities at her and look like he was about to hit her. Hate. No not the left. Not the homos. All should watch this. This pos was so out of line. I can't see him getting anywhere in court. He was totally out of hand. The left are real pos. Accost people verbally or otherwise and when their ass is handed to them do what the always do when they look like irrational morons.....sue. I'm so livid after watching this.
