Happy birthday to one of the most calm, serene, mellow women here!
And many more!
But how come you don't spend as much time here as you used to? You're missed.
Thank you Frank, I miss you all as well, but the reality is that real life has preempted this one.
My first born completed her first year in college and is going on to be a nurse. I would be remiss if I didn't mention she has a solid 4.0 gpa. Where she got her nurturing goodness, I have no idea, surely not from her engineer mom.
For my birthday, I was at a guardianship hearing and was awarded legal guardianship of my #2 child (soon to be legal adult at the end of this month). Just a formality, nothing changes as far as the care of him, however, the court is now a part of our family and has legal oversight. Kind of strange how that works.
My #3 child is almost 14 years old and has started lacrosse. She plays goalie and if you know anything about lacrosse, you will know that is one of the most brutal positions in lacrosse. They have minimal protection and they take hits with baseball like balls which can travel up to 60 mph.
Take care my friend!
