Mon Jun 11, 2012, 10:52 PMElectric Monk (5,713 posts) I wonder if there's gonna be a riot in LA tonight? I sure hope not.
Drale (6,171 posts) 4. No LA fans are known for rioting after the Laker's win or lose in the playoffsFlipping cars, breaking windows and general craziness.
Control-Z (6,250 posts) 5. Not that I've heard.Different crowd, different ways of "celebrating", is the popular belief around here (OC). Frankly I don't understand any of it.
"The nation that couldn’t be conquered by foreign enemies has been conquered by its elected officials" odawg Free Republic in reference to the GOP Elites who are no difference than the Democrats
Hockey fans are awesome, they would never riot when their team wins.
There are celebrations, no riots in site. LAPD was well prepared, but the makeup of the crowds are completely different. Political correctness prevents me from stating the reason.
Oooops, I think Vancouver rioted when their team lost a few years ago, but I don't think there was looting.
Last year, and there was. It also brought us the unforgettable experience of watching some guy get tagged in the balls with an exploding flashbang grenade.
What the hell? Why not relive the memories. I was embarrassed to be a Canucks fan that night, but that made up for it a bit.
As a woman it's really hard to understand that it hurts to get hit in that area.
