It used to be hanging the president in effigy was not only okay, but patriotic. From 2001 through 2009 dissent was patriotic, now it's racism.
Personally I'm against this no matter who is the preezy, but the DUmmies applauded this crap when their side did it, only when their own tactics are turned on them do they complain.
You know, antics like this
used to bother me, no matter who the president was (even the worthless Jimmy Carter; and of course there was the hapless Lyndon Johnson, but I was a little young yet).
But after having been coarsened and hardened by the primitives the past eleven years, the antics don't bother me any more. It's more of a "ho-hum" attitude about them.
Even George Washington (during the "Whiskey Rebellion") and Abraham Lincoln were hung in effigy by screaming mobs; surely the primitives don't think the Magic One is so much better than them, that he should be immune from such political statements.
I wouldn't do it myself--I think it's bad taste--but rather than being upset about such things any more, I just don't care. Ho-hum.
