Boston Drunkard vs. Reality

So, wait a minute...Obama and the Dems are to blame for Wisconsin. I'm hearing that right?

-----

Even though Mr. Obama kept his distance from the state in the final weeks of the union-led recall effort, the president’s party, his campaign team and his labor allies exerted an enormous joint effort in the state that proved ineffective against an organized and well-funded Republican apparatus.

More than 40 offices run by the Democratic National Committee and Mr. Obama’s campaign deployed more than 100 paid staff members alongside union and state volunteers for months in what amounts to the first real test of the president’s ground game before November’s election.

Just making sure I'm hearing you correctly.

Obama and the Democrats did nothing to help with this recall.

Got it.

If you truly "got it" would would recognize that Dear Leader and the Dems will get the blame, this will be hung around their neck, and rightfully so.

I do not get what he is trying to say. Is he saying Obama helped too much or too little?

The Drunk is of the (wrong, as is typical of the Drunk) opinion that this stomping of Barrett by Walker was not the fault of zero or the dems.

Who initiated the recall?  It wasn't the GOP.

9. IMO the BLAME for Wisconsin

goes to the apathetic people that sat on their ass and were too lazy or uninterested to vote.
A turnout of 58% means that 42% of eligible voters don't give a shit.
Pathetic

I guess all those 119% numbers were a figment of my imagination.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Hey Shitpitt? Why ain't you writing about how Walker will be indicted and was told to get his personal affairs in order in 24 Business Hours?

Back in the day I seem to remember they were called "The Silent Majority"  aka those who have to pay the bills.

The only battle that The Boston Drunkard is likely to win is against a bottle of Bacardi 151. He doesn't stand a chance against reality.

Once, in my wild, misspent 'ute, a shipmate and I went mano y mano with a quart of 151 in orange juice.  Not a good idea when you have first helm watch underway into a very rough sea.  Not a good idea at all, tugs are a lot like a cork stopper in the best of water but when it is rough....  :drunksailor:

They might be a Fig Newton of your imagination. That would be vivid.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Obama-mia and the DNC saw a total disaster in that recall, and deliberately stayed as far away as possible.
They were just hoping that after the manure spreader shut down, their Aramani suits would be clean.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

**** The bolded part is the key phrase of the OP. ****
If this was a test of the presidential ground game...THEN WE WIN!  We punked Obama's a$$ but good!
This was a complete and utter failure of the ACORN/Union Voter fraud in a state without Voter ID laws.

Thank you to Wee Willie Pitt for proving the lie that this election meant nothing.

I think he means the people from Chicago and Minnesota.

And even that is unfair to the Chicagoans who were stealing a state senate seat in Racine. For all the good it will do them.
