The only downside to the Wisconsin election was the lib/dem/socialists picked up 3 senate seats, and control of the state senate.

Not a big thing. They won't be in session until after the November election, when the Rs will get it back.

The one turned seat does make it donk controlled but the legislature is out of session unless Governor Walker calls them back and i doubt that will happen.  With the redistricting under the GOP, the senate goes R again in November. No harm no foul.
