Just a curiosity question about Democrats and Obama
« on: June 01, 2012, 01:54:33 PM »
I'm curious, Bill Clinton basically came out and said Romney did a good job with Bain Capital, and Steny Hoyer agrees with Clinton. What's going on here? are Democrats trying to shove Obama to the center? or are they trying to get someone else to run?

Bus will be on my list of banned words.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Oooops, edited, I assume it's on Obama's enemies list of words you can't use?

That is quite a shock. But when you are in charge of the budget, you can buy a lot of votes.

I am aware all of you are going to think i am crazy but i do not see Obama having over 200 votes in the electoral college.

per real clear politics

Obama       237

I think the following states are at-best tossups

NJ
Penn
Wisconsin
Michigan
Mass

That brings Obama down to 176

I am looking at this as a way of Clinton saying that he does not like Obama, in fact, him and Hillary both hate him. Obama is the only one saying bad things about Romney and his record at Bain (well except for MSNBC, but they would tell everyone the sky is falling if Obama said it was). Anyone with a brain knows that Obama has no room to talk, since his record is worse than Romney's ever could be.

It would be beautiful if Both Clinton's voted for Romney. That would such a kick in the teeth for Obama. I would love it.

{snip}

~  When Ronald Reagan endorsed the proposal, the Carter campaign pounced, redubbing the Kemp-Roth tax proposal the Reagan-Kemp-Roth tax proposal, convinced that it would be a drag on Reagan’s election prospects.

They were, of course, suffering from the “Pauline Kael effect,” named for the long-time movie critic of The New Yorker, who is supposed to have said after the 1972 election, “I can’t believe Nixon won. I don’t know anyone who voted for him.” Millions of voters outside the Beltway and the Upper West Side of New York thought the Reagan-Kemp-Roth proposal was a great idea. Ronald Reagan signed it into law only eight months into his presidency, while Jimmy Carter felt sorry for himself sitting in Plains, Georgia.

I suspect the same situation obtains today. The people are far more ready to seriously tackle the federal government’s chronic revenue imbalance than is the liberal establishment.

Good luck with that.

Using the government spell checker and DUmmie logic...Barack Obama has 4 "A's"... and it's the only "A's" he has ever had.

Probably not, but then when you look at it; the liberals love/loved Slick Willy. Quite frankly, if it came to either having Clinton or Obama, I would chose Clinton in a heart beat.

Bill Clinton complained vociferously and it was reported in the media that owebuma played the race card, in effect accusing clinnochio of being racist.

Obama calling Clinton racist would be enough to turn him against him.

I'm sure Willy-Bill is still nursing some major payback for that, it's just that currently the DNC's and Obama's fortunes are inextricably mingled, a state of affairs that won't last out the year if Romney wins the election.

Maybe Bill Clinton believes that Romney did a good job with Bain Capital.  Subordinating truth to tactical considerations creates a dangerous precedent.

Something is in the air.  A very, very liberal guest on today's Chris Hayes show called Obama a murderer in respect to his use of drones, and it stunned the panel.

If murderer was good enough for Bushitler, then it's good enough for Obomber.
