Well, my Grandmother used to say "people will be very surprised when they see who's in Heaven", she used to say that because some of the pious people she would see at Mass would be the same people after Mass who were nasty and gossiping. I happen to believe that God is a loving God, and that gay people and even atheists can go to Heaven if they did good things in their lives. Also judging who does and doesn't go to Heaven isn't our job but Gods job. I think the Parents and the Church were wrong encouraging this.
WTF? 2 times today I veered from fellow conservatives? I took my Vitamin D pill today, was it a DU pill instead?
I'll agree with you.
I have a cousin who is on his deathbed, again, as I type this. He is a homosexual, though I am not sure if nature or nurture could be pointed out as a cause. He has been in and out of hospitals since he was sixteen with various and often enough inoperable cancers. They started in his brain, the poor kid actually grew breasts. He is now twenty-six. He has suffered through chemo and radiation therapy since that time. His parents were told to take him home and make him comfortable at least twice. If God can't find room for him in heaven, then who does he have room for?
He died on the operating table in Texas a few months ago, when they revived him, he swore he saw our grandma. Now, his sight is gone, he was no longer able to speak, and he has seizures that aren't responding to medication.
