Holder is giving them lessons on how to back Obama without overtly violating church and state rules regarding their tax exempt status. Next, look for him to go after the Catholic Church on the grounds that they are advocating against a politician and not just issues.

Maybe i am hyper-sensitive to this because i spent all day Memorial day re-watching th HBO special Band of Brother and i am Jewish. I was particularly affected when I saw the part where the 101st discovers a concentration camp.

For the most part, In the begining Hitler was able to get away with rounding up people because he had complete control over what was reported and told to the German people, the people did not think he could do anything so horrible and he had brain-washed the youth to think that government was more important then thier parents so you had little brats telling on thier parents.

In a way isn't that exactly what is happening in the U.S. today. We have a main-stream media that is so wrappd up in getting our first black democrate presiden elected and now reelected that they ignore everything negative about him. for example, Rush has played that conversation between King and Kroncate where the talkabout how little they know about Obama. Our liberal friends, especially on DU, are so bent on the goodness of the chosen one that they do not see anything he does as bad. Finally we have youths that are so willing to have the government do everything for them and have the government tell them what to do. How long before it's round-up the Jews again

When the institutions of the family and the church are essentially co-opted, then a rounding up of undesireables is possible.

Which is why I defend family and church autonomy very strongly.

I speak against things like porn, fornication, adultery, drug abuse, homosexuality, etc. because they destroy the family unit.  Often however on conservative boards I am slammed for not being Libertarian enough.

I don't mean to usurp the thread, I am just speaking to your concern about the control of Americans through the MSM.  Your bulwarks against them are the institutions of the family and the church.  They must be defended.

Unfortunetely i ran out of room in my posting.

I do not fear the Right Wing rounding up people for two reasons:

1) the MSM hates them and will never let that go unreported.
2) THe Right's strong faith in god creates a moral conscience.

It is definitely still possible for the right to round up people they hate but it would be a much more difficult endeavor.

Both of theses defenses are lacking on the left.
