If you have any pick-your-own berry farms in your area, fresh blueberries and raspberries freeze well and can be used later in the year.

I estimate he took a 57degree bite out of that pi.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Well, when it comes to pie, there are three types to consider:

1.  Pecan pie. With or without bourbon. And a side of real whipped cream.
2.  Berry pie -- ANY kind of berry pie. Even mixed berry pie (we're equal-opportunity eaters around here), along with a healthy dollop of vanilla bean ice cream is good.
3.  Coconut cream -- with a pastry crust, not graham cracker.

I beg to differ, Eupher.  Coconut is the work of the debl.

Pecan Pie is disgusting.  Pure, wiggly sugar.  So sweet your head will explode.

Rightcoast, your pic made me burst out laughing.  It was...unexpected.

Blueberry, now that's my favorite fruit, makes a hellofa pie.  Also, did you know that Ocean Spray diet blueberry juice is extremely delicious, and is only 5 calories?  Makes a great cocktail, too, by adding ice and a snifter of vokka.

If that is true, then I am evil incarnate.

Pecan pie is rich. Richness does not equate to sweetness. If your pecan pie is sweet, you're putting too much sugar in it. Substitute butter -- your arteries will thank me for that little tip.

If you're going to eat PIE, you can't and shouldn't be worried about calories/fat grams/carb grams. It just ain't right. You're either going to stay on the dark side, or you're not. If you're not going to the dark side, just 'fess up and admit it.

There's no crime in being honest. But get off the calorie kick. THAT is the work of the debl.

I was just making an aside about the juice.  It's just really good, that's all.  Not on my high horse about calories and fat grams at all.

I'm relieved you're still on the dark side with the rest of us.

Wouldja like some pie? Key Lime, maybe?  (somebody posted a pic above, methinks...)
