It looks like I'm going to run for State House.

 Through an interesting series of events I'll likely be the Democratic candidate for my legislative district, seeking in November to defeat a 4-term Republican with a sizable (mostly out-of-state, I think) war chest. I've always relied on DU for inspiration and perspective about politics, and I'll continue to check in, both to post how the campaign is going and to seek encouragement and fresh ideas about the process.

Is this the same guy who ran for the senate a couple of years ago and suggested actions figures of him as a way to bring back the economy?

Oregon's 15th district in Linn County, according to the DUmmy.  He's replacing a candidate who had to drop out.  No on-line presence yet, but he claims he will have one.

This should be fun, especially if we can "neck-beard" him.
