Mitt Romney and the Utah Olympics? Anything on this that can take him down?

Full disclosure I love the Olympics, always have, always will.

That said, I was not paying close attention to the Utah games - I had moved to Hawaii the year before was in the midst of a crazy job, young family, new place to live etc. I kind of missed them.

Is there something we can hang on Romney with those games? His big claims are Governor, Bain and the Olympics. The first two are not going well for him, I want to pile on and make it 3 for 3.

Any help?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/125139539

Actually the first 2 are not harming him at all, even democrats are not liking the attacks on Bain.

I'm sure you super sleuths can find something that he did wrong.  :rotf:

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Yep, they already have to go back almost 50 years for some prank that may or may not have even happened.

They went back 150 years yesterday to find something that the Mormon Militia did in Arkansas. Them having to do this shows that they can't find anything to get him on. He is probably one of the most squeaky clean candidates we ever had.

How long have we known Romney? How long have we known Obama? New stuff is popping up all the time about Obama. You ain't got anything new on Romney. Be afraid of what is still to come on Obama.  Be very afraid.

And everything they are throwing out about Romney is coming back and kicking Obama in the nads.

They have nothing to fear, anything found on 0bama will be either ignored or spun 180 degrees by the press. Romney not only has to beat 0bama, he has to beat the press too.

Unlike 0bama, Romney actually made that better. Romney took it out of insolvency and put the Olympics into solvency. That is the exact opposite of Barak the Destroyer.

Take a look at some of 0bama's work on the south side of Chicago and remember that he spent $720 million on it. Obama the Destroyer will do for the entire USA what he did to his home district of Chicago.

Obama did great....just ask Moochelle. It's all Bush's fault.

That's what I was thinking. That was the first time I'd ever heard of Romney, and if I remember correctly, he was highly praised for his handling of the Olympics.

You know, if they would give me a waver on lead paint abatement and asbestos encapsulation, I could make a big, big improvement in Chicago for $750 million.

....and it would work for Detriot too.

I would pay (wink, wink) the right people up to $3.75 million for those waivers. It is a democrat tradition.

You are correct Chica, adding to that Romney is considered to have saved the Olympics after all the scandals.  They brought him in and he cleaned house.  So the DUmbasses probably would be better served to go conjure up something else.

I heard that there were some ticket mix ups.  Could have been his fault.  And some of the lines in parking lot were crooked.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

For far less than $750 million, you could do wonders for "urban beautification" in both Chicago and Detroit--and encase them in glass (for about 10,000 years or so).

It's what they do to any Republican/ conservative who presents any kind of threat to the Democrats, ESPECIALLY Republican politicians.

Democrat parking attendants?  :???:  Nuff said.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

The mind of a DUmmy: even though the DNC and Lord Zero have legions of assholes combing through Romney's entire life, looking for the slightest evidence of having two nickels to rub together, it will take DU to bring Romney down.

There is a fine line between chutzpah and stupidity, but DUmmies are always on the right hand side of that.

Incidentally, as they comb over Romney's life, at least they can take away some hints on how to be a successful executive.
