Woman attacked while ordering lunch at McDonald's drive-thru

DENVER, Colorado (KUSA) - Police are investigating a vicious beating at a McDonald's drive-thru in Denver.
 
Shannon, who asked us not to use her last name, was the victim of an attack on May 9 just before noon.

She called our sister station KUSA 9News, and asked for help finding her attackers.

"I don't feel safe anymore," Shannon said.

The attack happened in the middle of the busy lunch hour at the McDonald's on 3300 Colorado Boulevard near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

I am noticing more of these attacks since Trayvon Martin. I wonder if this could because his death.

I think these attacks started escalating after Teh Won was coronated in Jan. 2009.  It will only get worse if he wins/loses this year.

This is nothing new. 

They just enjoy acting like animals.  They always work in groups, but will scatter when a gun comes out.

Strange I have never had a run in with anyone male/ female of another race. For some reason my run in are of the same race.

Had this woman walked up to the car and said "Excuse me I believe this fell out of your car, handed it to the passingers smiled and walked off, I see no problem.

To walk up to the car and ream out the passengers and driver for doing wrong is just asking for it. She became aggressive with her actions, she placed the passengers in a fight or flight by her choice to jack them up.

Much depends on ones attitude towards others, We know the walk and attitude of a person walking down the street confident will discourage anyone from picking on them.     We know body language tells it all, that is how the bar folk know when a cop in plain clothes walks in.  Body language, that the language the crooks learn first and the cops second.

So a car full of people are approached by an angry woman with 6 kinds of body language,  obviously angry about a simple act of throwing trash into a parking lot.  Then the passengers defend themselves against what they believe in a crazy woman.     If the stranger does not back down now what, is she armed have a knife, so they beat her up.

2 sides to every story, littering is not crime that needs to have us go off on strangers and not expect a blow back.

Add in California, Virgina, Tenn, Connecticut and Michigan. 

Most if not all were civilian housing before getting base housing so I at times ended up smack dab in the middle of places where I was  the only minority.     Interesting for me and the kids, we had one hell of a good time interacting with the neighbors and the kids class mates.

The kids got one heck of an education and I found that all woman at heart are the same, we all in different way want the same thing for our kids.    --The Men were different, but whats to say this is normal.

I am not sure what Gina and Wasp are getting at.   It is true I did carry a stun gun when delivering Pizza after hours in the Ghetto, true I had a Sheppard riding in the back seat and never had a sign stolen off the roof, was robbed or approached by the thugs, was respectful to all customers even when they opened the door in their birthday suit.  Must say this was a hoot, no reason to get bent out of shape. 

To respond to the ass h*les that bang into your shopping cart to get ahead of you with like rudeness is to set yourself up for confrontation over such a small thing, not worth a fight over.   

Got to choose your battles wisely, someone cuts you off driving, no reason for road rage, the other driver may be on drugs or in a panic driving a woman giving birth in the car.

Some times one has to stand their ground, outside Amtrack Station in DC. a couple of big men approached me and pestered the hell out of me to give them cigarettes.   I just said NO and they finally walked off  swearing at me when I ignored them. I could have caused a scene, got into their face and perhaps poked one of them with my cane.       Why bother, let them go pick on someone that shows fear or is willing to surrender their property just to get them to leave them alone.

All ways someone out there that will decide they have rights you do not have, mean nasty people that need an ass whipping but there is no reason to play their game.---------

My stupid GPS routed me through some ghetto in Baltimore.  That was the first thing I thought of when I was told to turn on MLK Blvd.
