I'm going to a VA service.  Unpacking.  Grilling for friends.  Fitting some horses with tack for the summer, and I hope to get a couple hours of fishing in.  Have to work on Memorial Day, but plan to make it a shorter day.  No one wants to do therapy on a holiday.

I am going to be watching my daughter in the parade, then going to a veterans service at our "Soldiers Park". After that, I am going to visit the grave sites of my family members.

My Godparents are over from Italy and they leave to go home the next day.

Working the night shift! :bawl: For double time and a half! :-)
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

~ Dr. William Pierce

I'm on a need to know basis...the wife will let me know when I need to know. :-)

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

We are planning on going to Phoenix and taking Carleigh to the zoo.  Just waiting for Heath's aunt to get back to us and let us know if it's okay if we stay at her place for a couple of days.

If we don't hear from her, then we are staying in Las Vegas.

Nothing too exciting here...In addition to grilling with my honey, I'll be seeing The Avengers with my her. While I know I'll be riveted to the movie, still, my right arm can have a mind of its own at times and I know it'll be around her sweet shoulders.

Oh, and she's buying, too.

Going to our local parade then on to visit some vets and listen to their stories

The zoo sounds fun! I wish Las Vegas had a zoo! In Pahrump the women look like they escaped from a zoo!

I am recovering from having an appendectomy at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas earlier this month so I was not up for any sight seeing. I did sneak in some shopping.  :)

I'm off work until June 1st and still pretty sore at times. My weekend will be quiet (most of them are) and Monday a contractor will be here to install a couple new windows and a couple other projects that I need done. Being off work always seems to give me carpal tunnel from using my debit card! :rotf:

We're taking SR's buddy down here out for dinner. His wife went to St Louis to visit the relatives, so he's fending for himself here. It should be nice---debating between a place called Spanish Point Grill and another one called Casey Key Fishhouse. Both of them are on the water, places where people can use the docks for their boats. Of course, we'll be using the parking lot for our car.

Should be a relaxing day.

It's my wife's weekend to work in the ER. Might go to the pool with the kids. If I have too much fun without her I might get in trouble.

Before his demise, I started all my swimming excursions by stowing away in Teddy Kennedy's car. Is that wrong ?
