$3.629 here in Cow Hampshire. But that's still a shitload more than the $1.799 I paid on 1/20/09 (and I still have the receipt.)
I threw out a receipt from 1974 a couple of years ago. It was 2,000 gallons of non-highway diesel....15.9 cent a gallon. It was the last time it was ever that cheap.
I had receipts from the late 70's (Carter years) for off road fuel...$1.39/9 a gallon.
It dropped to as low as 35.9 a gallon for a little while under Reagan.
