gasoline prices went UP this week in northern California....
Haven't I been hearing that petroleum prices are going down, and there's a gas glut in the U.S.? Or am I mistaken?

Anyway, gasoline prices ROSE again last week in my northern California community: regular unleaded is $4.599 at most local stations. Up from $4.499 where it had been pegged for the last month or so. Groan....

Gas has gone down considerably here (Savannah, GA area) in the past 3 weeks. It's at 3.34 now...

I just filled up for $3.23/9 in red state hell S.C..

I think it's great that the lunatics in California have all that clean, crisp, pristine air quality, and it only costs them an extra thirty bucks a fillup.

I don't know about you GOBUCKS, but I absolutely love the smell of diesel and gasoline fuel.  Some of the gas stations around here have those little condom things on the pump nozzles, to trap the fumes.  When I am filling up, I always pull the nozzle out just enough that I can see the vapors going up into the atmosphere and I can get a good whiff.

I remember when the strong odors around manufacturing and chemical plants were called the smell of money.

Thanks to the nuts in the democrat party, a lot of those plants, and their odors, are overseas now.

CA has a lot of exotic rules that don't exist everywhere else (Or at least not as strongly) requiring seasonal changes to various complex and expensive chemical additives to the gas sold there, which probably has something to do with it, since it adds a lot more expense over and above the oil price and the cost of simply refining the fractions.

Koimrades here in the socialist paradise of the People Republic of Kalifornia gas is at $4.55 for regular at the cheapest station. For some reason as the price of oil and gasoline through out the country went down, ours went up and it was glorious. My guess is that our leaders have imposed new diktat for tax to gasoline which is killing earth. Our future is going to be glorious, GLORIOUS!
